Cuando recibí el mail de Paul & Joe para invitarme a disfrutar de la presentación de la nueva colección en la Semana de la Moda mascilina de París pensé, esto va a ser más que genial y ciertamente, así fue. La colección para la nueva temporada otoño- invierno 12/13 es elegante, inteligente, sofisticada y muy masculina pero, además, también tiene un toque vintage y retro que personalmente adoro, es muy mi rollo. La sastrería es la parte principal de la colección, donde encontramos trajes de corte regular confeccionados materiales exquisitos como la lanas o el tweed. También vuelve con fuerza el traje de piezas, un básico de fondo de armario que para la próxima temporada, se combinará jugando con texturas y estampados pero, eso sí, siempre manteniendo una color combinación adecuada. Marrón, curry, camel, beis, escala de grises y azul marino como los colores principales, que se combinan con toques en amarillo, burdeos lavanda, naranja o lila. sinceramente, me encantó la colección.
When I received the mail from Paul & Joe to invite me to enjoy the presentation of the new collection at the Menswear Paris Fashion Week I though instantly, this is going to be more than great and certainly, it was. The Homme Collection from Paul & Joe for the new Fall/Winter 12-13 season is elegant, smart, sophisticated and so masculine, but also has a vintage and retro touch which I loved. The tailoring pieces was the main part of the collection, perfect suits in a regular cut that are confectioned with luxury materials like tweed and soft wools. The three pieces suits are coming back but, for the next season, you will play with textures and prints to combine them, always in a proper colour combination. Brown, curry, camel, beige, grey scale and navy are the main colours which are combined with touches in yellow, lavender, burgundy, orange and lilac. I have to say, I loved the collection.
