With Mr. Pablo Rivera from Madrid Centro Financiero, we follow each other on twitter!

Me puse morado. ¡No faltéis!

An European breakfast and an Irish lunch, everything without leaving Spain. And no, I have not the power of the tele-transportation. In Madrid, anything is possible. I'm going to tell you my productive day last Friday. When I received the invitation from the Forum of the Innovation, Financing and Technology to participate in this interesting day, of course, I said yes. A Conference that presented the supports plans, programs and instruments of business financing support. It is time to undertake, to start projects, and knowing that exist this kind of loans for young entrepreneurs, the idea of became a businessman is more motivated than ever. I don't know if I ever said that, but I do not believe in the crisis. Clearly we are living in a huge recession but, I believe that it has been generated or prefabricated for those ones who have the power, with the same support that the war that wanted to invent Mr. Obama... Back to the conference, seeing the faces of the speakers, every single one - as Tyra Bank would say -  smizing (smiling with the eyes), and talking about millions and millions of €, made me consider things from another point of view. Mr. Pablo Rivera from Madrid Centro Financiero (within Madrid Network) - both essential sites to stay updated in business world - spoke of stabilization of markets and regularization. Also, about the practices between banks and Governments, which by the way are too dangerous. In addition, he talk about specialization, i.e., the importance of areas concentrated in specific subjects. Phrases like "when the standard is changed the impact is previous", left me pensive. Mrs. Elisa Robles - general director of CDTI. Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness-, wanted to put the emphasis of his speech on "increasing competitiveness". To motivate the staff, she told us that her fund has 1billion of € to distribute loans to young entrepreneurs with teky ideas. He said, quote: "Our window is open all year". So, what she means was that, if the idea is good and the project is interesting, they are willing to listen all the ideas. Mrs. Begoña Cristeto - CEO of the ENISA, Ministry of industry, energy and Tourism - wanted to encourage the young entrepreneurs."We make a custom tailored suit", she said, referring to the personalized support plan that they are offering, and the 127 million € that they have as a budget for loans. "We are quasi-partners", she add, or " we have to be part of this ecosystem of entrepreneurs". Both statements referred to the importance of co-invest. The Co-working does ring a bell to you? To complete this part, Fractus - the Spanish company that hid the mobile antennas -, Blink - dedicated to the the hotel industry - or Zinkia - creators of PocoYo, the cartoon - are some of the Spanish companies that have succeeded with this kind of support. After the successful conference, we had a coffee with a few delicious croissants while guests and speakers exchange greetings.
Out of this intense European breakfast I stumbled upon the monument of the Irish tourism office in Madrid. At that moment, I knew that my lunch would be in an Irish way. I went walking from 'la Castellana' to the citycenter, I went to see my mates of  'Las Coristas del Pianista' - The lifestyle talk show on Radio Círculo where I'm collaborating with- to greet, catch up and think about the first show of the season (we'll be back on Monday). Later, I went to see my friend Manu, owner of AlphaVille (Velarde 16) - a must-see vintage store in Malasaña, the neighbourhood - where a couple days ago we spent the evening changing the window display and having beers; I hadn't dress mannequins in while, and Manu, let me do it in my way and taste - here, they're the pictures - . To finish the day, I went to the James Joyce (Alcalá 59st), one of the few Authentic Irish Pub in the capital. Paudraic, the manager, a really nice Irish man, who used to hum Spanish songs, will always take care of you with a smile. I had a nice pint, a salad as a starter, legs of chicken, as second plate and chocolate cake as dessert. After my plentiful meal, I had to walk for while, so, before returning home, I visited the Old Book Fair (Paseo de Recoletos), which you can not miss it, there are so many amazing vintage books. I took home a pair of magazines from the eighties in perfect condition. But, I'll be back soon for sure, because there is to much to see. The fair is open up to October 13.

I was wearing Topman suit and tie, Rare paisley shirt, Hugo Boss pocket square, Borg sunnies, Vintage boots, belt from a fleamarket.
