Sivasdescalzo Madrid opening party

La semana pasada Madrid dejó de ir descalzo. Y es que por fin, los chicos, de Sivasdescalzo - por los cuales, como sabéis, tengo mucha simpatía desde esto, en especial a Bambino Bambola - inauguraban oficialmente y, con fiestón de por medio, su nueva flagship store madrileña (churruca 5). Un ~~espacio~~ tiendón de lo más hipster y con un punto muy industrial, que fue diseñado por el arquitecto Iñigo González-Haba Plana, y que cuenta con marcas como Nike New Balance, Reebok, Asics, Onitsuka Tiger, le coq sportif, Air Jordan ,Vans, o colaboraciones especiales como las de Alexander McQueen - me muero por las de potro - , Mihara Yasuhiro y Hussein Chalayan para Puma, o las de Jeremy Scott y Kazuki Kuraishi para Adidas.

Last week I attended to the amusing Sivasdescalzo - I love these guys and know them since this shooting I did with Bambino Bambola - opening party at their new flagship store in Madrid (Churruca 5). A new incredible shop designed by the architect Iñigo González-Haba Plana, where you'll find an amazing selection of sneakers with brands such as Nike, New Balance, Reebok, Asics, Onitsuka Tiger, le coq sportif, Air Jordan, Vans, or special collections like Alexander McQueen - I die for the pony ones - , Mihara Yasuhiro and Hussein Chalayan for Puma, or Jeremy Scott and Kazuki Kuraishi for Adidas

The Amazing Store

Sivasdescalzo es el primer multimarcas español especializado en zapatillas que, además, cuenta con una página web que permite comprar zapatillas online en todo el mundo y recibirlas en una plazo máximo de siete días, 24 horas si estás en España. Sivasdescalzo es un proyecto que nació en 2010 como fruto de una pasión por el universo de las deportivas que, con el tiempo, se ha convertido más bien en toda una filosofía de vida. Y toda la culpa la tienen sus socios fundadores, los zapatilladictos; Daniel Luis García, David Bermuz, Raúl Fernández, Josep Folch y Ruben García Arnal, cinco tíos muy majetes que, a las pruebas me remito, tienen muy buen gusto y no sólo para las zapatillas.

Sivasdescalzo is the very first Spanish multi-brand store specialized in sneakers that also has a website. The company was born back in 2010, a project with a clear philosophy of life since the beginning; the fashion-passion for sneakers. Daniel Luis Garcia, David Bermuz, Raul Fernandez, Josep Folch and Ruben Garcia Arnal are the fathers and founders - they have good taste not only for sneakers - of this special project. They also are really nice guys, just saying.

Volviendo a la party, os puedo asegurar fue lo más, de las más divertidas de la temporada. Musicón con DJ Graham Thunder a los platos – aquello parecía por momentos un after en hora punta - , buenos vinitos de Bodegas Prádio, canapés coquetos y cócteles afrutados bien regados de Vodka King Peter - servidor se bebió unos cuantos, ya me conocéis - , más gente guapa por todas partes... ¿qué más se puede pedir? Os dejo con unas cuantas fotos y vídeo del evento, no sin antes mandar una agradecimiento especial Vanessa O'Bree - responsable de marketing de Sivasdescalzo - quien me contó de primera mano todos los entresijos de la nueva tienda y muchas historias zapatilleras. Si estáis en madrid no dejéis de visitarla, merece la pena.

Returning to the party, I can assure you that, it was one of the funniest of the season. Music by Graham Thunder DJ, good glasses of wine from Bodegas Prádio, flirty canapés and fruity cocktails with Vodka Peter King - I had more than one of them, you know me - plus cool people everywhere... what else you can ask?
