La chaqueta de frac es una prenda icónica del vestuario. Tradicionalmente es el prenda más elegante para lucir en eventos formales de noche, de una manera similar al esmquin, pero, sin duda, mucho más clásica y formal, hoy en día casi en deshuso. En la Última edición de Cibeles Madrid Fashion Primavera-Verano 2012, la diseñadora María Escoté cerró el show con una pareja muy especial, una pareja vestidos con una intepretación moderna de la diseñadora de estos trajes de cremonia. El novio llevaba una chaqueta increíble de frac en blanco roto en un look que, ciertamente, no era muy de boda pero sí muy molón. Otra interpretación moderna de esta pieza salió del japonés Mihara Yashurio, quién propone una nueva versión de esta mítica pieza. Estos dos looks de pasarela me han hecho recuerdar la foto de abajo, donde llevaba una chaqueta de frac vintage y una camisa blanca con flores negras más un pañuelo.
