No es ningún secreto, me encantan los pañuelos de bolsillos. No recuero muy bien cuál fue el primero que tuve, pero lo que sí tengo claro es que son imprescindibles en mi look. Para mí, aportan personalidad, sofisticación y cierto punto señorial, Te dan un aire de caballero moderno o dandi contemporáneo. Un toque que casi ningún otro accesorio consigue. Evidentemente, para llevarlos necesitas una blazer o americana, lo que no necesariamente te oblige a llevar un traje completo. Me gusta la combinación de pantalón vaquero, camiseta básica - casi siempre blanca - y, por supuesto, pañuelo de solapa. Casi siempre apuesto por los motivos estampados. Me suelo decantar por tramas clásicas, como este vintage que veis arriba con cuadros tartán, aunque también me gustan otros motivos geométricos, las flores o el paisley. En cuanto a la manera de colocarlos, no suelo seguir ningún patrón establecido, simplemente juego un poco con ellos estilizándolos con los dedos. Hoy, comparto con vosotros esta lista de deseo cuadrada. Y que, los pochettes - como dicen los italianos - son un capricho irresistible.
It's not a secret, I love pocket squares. I don't remember very well the first one that I had, but what it's true is that they are essential in my look since then. To me, they bring personality, sophistication and somehow, they give a modern gentleman or contemporary dandy vibe. No other accessory can do that. Obviously, to wear them you need a blazer, but not necessarily you have to wear a suit. I like the combination of jeans and basic tees, - almost always in white - plus a blazer and, of course, a pocket square. I normally wear them with prints. I usually tend to like classic patterns like tartan, like this vintage one above in the main picture, although I also like other geometric motifs, also love the ones with flowers or the paisley. About how to style them, I don't follow any set pattern, simply play a little with styling them with my fingers. Today, I share with you this squared wishlist just because pochettes - as Italians say – are an irresistible treat.
